• Expanded Revisions (Up to six 30-minute consultation/edit revision sessions)
• The author retains IP ownership, while Storyfave holds exclusive online publishing and physical printing rights. The author is responsible for managing physical book distribution.
• If physical distribution is needed, Storyfave provides guidance on using Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service for self-distribution. Amazon charges applicable fees for storage, fulfillment, and related services.

100-Copy Ultimate Package ($2500)

• Eight rounds of editing via email & online meetings: Comprehensive proofreading and detailed design refinements.
• Fully customized layout: Premium layout tailored to your unique vision.
• Marketing support: Includes social media graphics and promotional materials for 1 month (3 posts).
• 100 Physical copies: High-quality hardcover board books, with size customizable based on the author’s preference.
• The author retains IP ownership, while Storyfave holds exclusive online publishing and physical printing rights. The author is responsible for managing physical book distribution.

Transparency: Digital Book Sales & Revenue Model

Storyfave ensures a transparent and fair revenue model, allowing authors to maximize their earnings while covering essential platform hosting, distribution, and support costs.

Earnings & Service Fee Model

• Base Service Fee: Storyfave retains a 10% service fee per book sale to cover platform hosting and digital distribution.
• Monthly Listing Maintenance Fee: $25 per month to list books on multiple platforms, manage updates, process any changes, and cover file maintenance and troubleshooting if issues arise.
• Alternative Pricing Model: Authors can opt out of the monthly fee and instead choose a 30% flat service fee per sale, making it ideal for new authors looking to minimize upfront costs. However, for authors expecting higher sales, the monthly fee option may lead to greater overall earnings.

Platforms Covered

• Storyfave Platform: No additional third party fees.
• Amazon Kindle (KDP): One of the largest eBook marketplaces for self-published authors. 
  • Amazon pays royalties based on the list price, but the percentage varies depending on:
    • 70% royalty for eBooks priced between $2.99 and $9.99 
    • 35% royalty for eBooks priced outside this range.
    • Delivery fees (for the 70% option)
    • Marketplace & VAT (for some regions)

Sample Earnings Calculation

Optimizing Earnings on Amazon KDP

To maximize earnings on Amazon KDP, it is recommended to price books at or below $9.99 to qualify for the 70% royalty rate.

• If the price exceeds $9.99, Amazon automatically reduces the royalty rate to 35%, significantly lowering the author's earnings per sale.
• Amazon charges a delivery fee of $0.15 per 1MB file size.
• If a book is priced above $9.99, selling through Storyfave provides significantly higher earnings per sale compared to Amazon KDP.

Author Control & Rights

• The author retains intellectual property ownership of their book.
• Storyfave holds exclusive online publishing rights, meaning the book cannot be sold on other platforms.
• The author maintains full pricing control, setting their book price within the supported range.

Revenue Payouts & Fees

• Monthly Payments: Authors receive monthly payments based on net revenue after Storyfave’s service fees and any external platform deductions (e.g., Amazon’s royalty cuts). 
• Transaction Transparency: Storyfave will send authors a detailed monthly sales and revenue report, outlining total sales, deductions, and final payouts.
• Additional Fees: Additional payment processing or third-party platform fees may apply.
• Withdrawal & Termination: Authors can request to remove their book from Storyfave’s platform at any time.

Step 5: Launch & Marketing Support

The project timeline can be as short as two weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and the number of revisions required.

Upon confirmation of a package, the author will receive a contract for signature along with a payment link. Work on the book will commence upon receipt of payment.
